From the moment we arrived, the well friendly staff made us feel at home, ensuring our wedding anniversary was as romantic as can be. the location on a picturesque canal in Bruges offered a stunning backdrop for sipping drinks on the terrace, watching boats drift by. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated with period furniture and Ralph Lauren fabrics, and the bathroom boasted a double sink, bath, and shower with massage jets. We took advantage of the spectacular buffet breakfast 'Les matins du Relais' with its range of cold meats, cheeses, cooked eggs, and freshly baked pastries, all while enjoying the breathtaking view over the canals and historic city center. Exploring the area for water adventures like boat tours and segway rentals enhanced our experience of this historic city. Although the staff could have been more knowledgeable about parking regulations, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise flawless stay. the authentic Burgundian interior, along with the French-Flemish cuisine offered at the on-site restaurant in partnership with Maria van Bourgondië, added to the overall charm of the hotel. In conclusion, Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce offers hospitality, comfort, and a personal service that guarantees an unforgettable stay in the heart of Bruges. It is a perfect retreat for those seeking a blend of history, luxury, and culinary delights in a setting that captures the essence of this historic city.
